In a layman's understanding, fingerstyle play is a style of guitar playing which the player does almost everything in a song by himself like playing the solo, backup and bassline altogether and at the same time. That established, there are very few people in the world that can do this compared to the ocean of other guitarist that play the conventional style of flat-picking and strumming. But according to recent findings, players of this sort are domineering in nature (i.e when playing in band) because of the unique style of play associated with the Finger-style technique(i.e the ability to play almost everything from one instrument at the same time). To "sell much more" as used here means that it's appreciation will rise much more than it currently is. And as it is a very few individuals in the world that are good at it too, the surge is predicted to rise above hate soon.
